Who can vote?
Anyone 18+ with a valid personal email address. Owners and staff of nominated pizzerias can vote under the same limits as everyone else. Sam Jak and the Macomb Corners team don't vote.
How often can I vote?
One vote per person per day, Eastern Time, from 11/2 12:00 AM to 11/15 11:59 PM ET. One person = one email address. Votes from extra emails used to vote more than once a day are removed.
Why do I have to confirm by email?
It keeps the contest fair. A vote counts only after you click the confirmation link.
Which pizzerias are eligible?
Any pizzeria or restaurant that serves pizza with a Macomb Township location or a Macomb, MI mailing address, including food trucks based here. Write-ins with 10+ confirmed votes get added to the ballot in week 1 of voting.
How is the winner chosen?
The nominee with the most confirmed votes wins, after invalid votes are removed. Ties are co-winners. The top 3 get a certificate and window decal, delivered in person. No cash value.
Do pizzerias pay to be in it?
No. Nobody pays to enter, and nobody can buy votes or placement. Sponsors (starting with SamJak.ai) never affect results.
Will I get spammed?
No. Your email is used to confirm your vote. Newsletter and text messages are separate, optional, unchecked boxes. Unsubscribe or reply STOP anytime. We never sell your info.
When are results announced?
On or about 11/17, on this site and Macomb Corners social pages.

2. Eligibility
Voting is open to anyone 18 or older with a valid personal email address. Owners and staff of nominated businesses may vote under the same limits as everyone else. Sam Jak and the Macomb Corners team do not vote.
3. Dates
Nominations: 10/26/2026 to 11/1/2026.
Voting: 11/2/2026 12:00 AM ET to 11/15/2026 11:59 PM ET.
Results: posted on or about 11/17/2026.
4. How to vote and limits
Vote using the ballot on the contest page. Limit: one vote per person per calendar day, Eastern Time (one email address per person). Every vote must be confirmed by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent to the address you entered. Unconfirmed votes are not counted.
5. Write-ins
Voters may write in a pizza place that is not on the ballot. Any write-in with 10 or more confirmed votes is added to the ballot during the first week of voting.
6. Disqualification
Votes from disposable email addresses, scripted or automated votes, and bulk duplicate votes are removed. The sponsor's decision on any removed vote is final.
7. Winner determination
The nominee with the most confirmed votes wins. Ties are declared co-winners. The winner and 2 runners-up each receive a certificate and a window decal, delivered in person. These items have no cash value.
8. No purchase necessary
No purchase is necessary to nominate or vote, and voting is offered at no charge. Nominees cannot buy votes or placement. Sponsorship of Macomb Corners never affects contest results.
9. Privacy
Your email address is used to confirm your vote and to prevent duplicate votes. The Macomb Corners newsletter is optional and separate from voting. You are added only if you tick the newsletter box, and you can unsubscribe anytime. Text messages are sent only if you tick the optional SMS box. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Your information is never sold.

This contest is not affiliated with Macomb Township government. It is not endorsed by any of the listed businesses.
11. Changes to these rules
The sponsor may update these rules if needed to keep the contest fair. Any change will be posted on this page with the date it was made.
